Klenan Altitude publishes general English-language information about bicycle categories and cycling routes associated with Germany. It is not a bicycle manufacturer, retailer, repair shop, instructor, route operator, land manager, transport provider, insurer, travel agent or emergency service.

No booking or commercial relationship

The site does not sell products, accommodation, route access, registration, transport or tours. There are no affiliate links or payment functions. Mention of a bicycle category, route organisation or destination does not create a partnership, endorsement or customer relationship.

Route information changes

Distances, ascent, alignments, surfaces, seasonal arrangements and services can change. Weather, forestry, construction, conservation work and emergencies may close or divert a route without this site being updated. Check the linked official source close to departure and follow current signs, barriers, land-manager instructions and emergency directions. Those sources always take precedence.

Reader responsibility

You are responsible for choosing lawful routes, evaluating your skills and health, maintaining equipment, carrying appropriate food and water, arranging insurance and transport, and deciding whether conditions are safe. A published route or photograph is not proof that a path is currently open or suitable for you, your bicycle or an assisted cycle.

Category articles explain general trade-offs. They are not individual fitting, purchase, repair or safety advice and do not represent laboratory or long-term tests of pictured bicycles. Check the current manufacturer manual, load ratings, service instructions and applicable law. Use a qualified professional where the work or decision exceeds your competence.
